October 3rd is the Annual Fall Garage Sale from 7am-12pm hosted by yours truly. Every year the Melinda Heights area has two huge annual garage sales with over a hundred participants. This fall as always the advertising and street prep for the garage sale is already taken care of for you the day of by my team. All that is needed on your part is to go through and find the items you want to clear out, have it ready the day of and RSVP for the event. To RSVP simply send an email to margo@margomurray.com with Fall Garage Sale in the subject line and your name and address in the message. Signs will be up early on Saturday and Free Donuts will be provided to all participants who RSVP for the event. Hope to see you all out there!

This Saturday and Sunday Rancho Santa Margarita hosts the Fine Arts Festival in Central Park. The Art Festival features artists from throughout Southern California presenting original work from fine art including paintings in oils, acrylics and watercolors, photography, and etching. There will also be sculptures in clay, glass, metal stone and wood. The artists will be on location to meet with the public and talk about their work that will be available for purchase. Fine crafts will also be available from blown glass, turned wood, semi-precious jewelry, stained glass, pottery, and high quality crafts for purchase.

The Rancho Santa Margarita Library hosts a variety of events and readings that range from the delightful reading of Wizard of Oz last Saturday to the great family nights first Thursday of every month or weekly readings for toddlers or preschoolers, and this month they have a special and fun event for teens in 7th grade and up to learn about modern manners.

The Library of Rancho Santa Margarita is host to a great many story times and special readings that provide incredible enrichment and fun for the whole family! This Saturday, September 19th at 2:00 p.m. the Library hosts the nationally renowned Judy Garland impressionist Elaine Horn in a story telling of the Wizard of Oz. The program is for all ages and includes reenactments from the 1939 movie with a photo opportunity at the end.

Coming up this September 19th - Bubblemania is back! All tots and parents are invited for a fun morning of bubbles and craft making! All sorts of fun bubble making apparatus will be available for the children to have a great time! This event is geared for children seven and under, and will take place at the Beach Club from 10 am to noon. Registration is at the Beach club and tickets are $5 per child (no charge for children under 1 year or for grown ups). No cash or credit cards are accepted but checks may be made out to Samlarc. Keep in mind that the last day to register will be Friday, September 18th at noon, and that there will be no day of registration available.

Residents are permitted five guests for this delightful afternoon with live Jazz music, wine, cheese and chocolate! Tickets are $12 per person. The last day of registration is Today, September 5th at noon.

Live entertainment will be provided by the Blu Note Jazz Band. Hor d’oeuves will include a large fruit and cheese display along with wines featured from around the world with eight countries represented and an incredible Ghirardelli Chocolate Fountain.

As a reminder, the Beach Club does not accept cash or credit card, but checks can be made out to Samlarc. Proof of age required as the event has an age requirement of 21 years.

Registration and packet pick-up is available today from 3:00-8:00 p.m. in the Bell Tower Regional Community Center. Events begin at 7:00 a.m on Monday, September 7th with the 5k Run/Walk at 7:30 and Kids Fun Run at 9:00.
